One of our tickets* is about cheek swabbing people to find out where their ancestors came from. This Wikipedia page is awesome: Human mitochondrial DNA haplogroup.

How interesting that all this lineage traces from the female side, and that she's named "Mitochondrial Eve." I think that name was used once before in some myth of first things...
